The thing is that red fans won't SHUT UP (Smosh Reference Intended) about how Ash is the "Worst Trainer Ever" even though they were well aware about the equally stupid things that red did.

Red did not kill Blueś Raticate. He just got sick of training it. So he switched it out.

Red is a great Trainer so is Ash. people say Ash is a terrible trainer because he was a noob. Noobs can make mistakes. How ever I have a theory that Ashś Father might be Red. Ashś Father left to be a trainer. Red left kanto after becoming Kanto champion to think about his life. Quistendence? I think not.
