Thanks. This is a really obscure one, even from my generation. Clutch Cargo is the one everyone remembers from this company. I actually have some of the Space Angel episodes on a DVD around here. Definitely made during the cold war barely more than 15 years after WWII.
Talk about minimal animation. They used a technique called Synchro-Vox. If you remember how Conan used to use a similar method to do "interviews" with the presidents, you can picture what it was. It takes a lot to weird me out, but even as a kid, human mouths moving in a cartoon...
Yet, every Saturday morning, my older brother were up and downstairs watching the show.
