The reality of homelessness always makes me sad and angry that it is allowed to continue in both Canada and the US, especially when both countries can do far better ... but seeing both your memes this morning made my day ... wish I could upvote you both a hundred times. I actively campaign against legislated poverty in my area, every chance I get, because I came dangerously close to being homeless, through no fault of my own, just a couple years ago. Having been homeless when I was in my late teens, I'd rather be dead than suffer that kind of pain again.
