Not sure if it's hysterically funny myself - but a darn good point! Leaving labels aside, those supercilious preening celebrities who are both ignorant and hypocritical love to dish it out, but can't take it. (Especially a joke). So, many of us are waiting for the stampede of all these effete snots to do what they claimed they would do. I belive that was the point, humorously expressed.
