Maybe you're right. Maybe the close correlation with the increase in greenhouse gases due to the industrial Revolution is pure coincidence.

Correlation does not equal causation. Besides, the closer correlation is that an increase in greenhouse gasses follows an increase in temperature, not the reverse. http://principia-scientific.org/atmospheric-carbon-dioxide-lags-temperature-the-proof/
