Why? It's not American law?

Muslims want this to be law here.

There's a difference between 'wanting' and 'being'.

There's nothing one can do about violence. That's going to happen anyway. But a system of laws something can be done.
Also you're going to defend a system for murderers, and say American violence is a problem? Give me a break

I said none of that. I have problems with violence in any system. I am against Islamic 'fundamentalism' just as I am against Christian 'fundamentalism'. First off their interpretations are anything but fundamental to the prime theology of the religions, but that is a textual criticism. My main issue is that fundamentalist extremism is birthed from the conservative nature of the interpretations. It is the conservative members of the various religions who resort to violence when the world structure doesn't turn out as they would want. To blame every Muslim for the terrorism a few do is as much a logical fallacy as if one were to condemn all Christians for the misdeeds of a tiny minority. Agitation for sharia law is merely a manifestation of the fear and anger members of those societies have against change. One can find abhorrent verses in Deuteronomy and Leviticus that would be inapplicable in the modern world, or at least free and open societies within it. And it's not all religious; the current adoration of Donald Trump is merely white middle-class fear of change. If he had not become president I have little doubt there would have been violent repercussions on the part of his most fervent followers. The basic problem is this: people with conservative values fear change and when change comes, as it inevitably does, those people are seduced by systems of belief that promise a return to halcyon days that never truly existed, where those who look and think like them were in power, and when the change - ALWAYS - happens anyway, you get outfits like al-Qaeda and Islamic State, and on a lesser scale, Americans who believe millions of votes were illegal and that 'elites' are holding them back and if only 'alternative facts' were forced on the populace then things would be as they should be. I consider the fight against rightist thinking like this to be the best manifestation of American values. It's part of the international order that American strength built since World War II, and it's what's in danger of disappearing and weakening this great country in the next four years.

TL;DR Islam is nothing like Judaism and certainly nothing like Christianity. The OP wants to pretend like a normal murder in america is different from a Jihadi murdering an american for the sloe reason that we are not Muslim.

Basically Islam is a modified form of Judaism accepted by the itinerant tribes of the Arabian peninsula, thus their acceptance of Hebrew prophets as their prophets and consideration of Jesus as a legitimate prophet. Yahwehism has its origins in the north west of the Arabian peninsula, probably picked up by a travelling tribe coming up from Egypt after the death of the pharoah Akenaten, who had advocated monotheistic worship of the sun god Ra. Those influences were still there when the tribe merged with the Canaanite tribes who lived in the hills of Palestine, and who later became Israelites. Or at least that's one theory. Arabs are Semitic peoples, just as Jews.Ideas would have flowed back and forth through the region.

All intentional violent death is bad. A jihadi has the same unmoving, un-open mind set as the most conservative members of all religions. Today's far-right white nationalist movement has its roots in a misinterpretation of Christian teachings. Those Christians who wish to follow their savior should reject this thinking.
