The Obama administration and the Dems are the ones who fought to regulate that industry. The GOP has fought against regulating that industry. On this subject the GOP sucks and the Dems are trying to get the right thing done.

Yea he should have left that $750B on the desk unspent. There was no disagreement at the time that the gov needed to put cash into the economy. The disagreement was in whether or not we should regulate those banks. And we would have if we listened to the dems but the right insists that the businesses have your best interests in mind when they clearly dont.

you dont get it, You just proved my point, the dems agreed with the gop on bailing out the banks.. They are all crooks but the dems are too stupid or corrupt to see that their side is just as corrupt as the GOP, actually worse now..
That bailout was necessary and the second one was too. In fact the second one was probably too small. But the regulations should have come with rhem. That was the short coming. The American people needed the stimulus but we also needed financial reform to help avoid many of the same pitfalls. I'm sure you think I don't understand but I do.
Try to stay focused. The meme is about one poitician attacking particular protections put in place to prevent the revolving door of crash and bail. Fixing the entire world would be nice but the idea is to start somewhere. Glass Steagall and the CFPB were aimed at making those changes in favor of the average American and the president we just elected is against the average American having those protections. It's really simple. A lot of other things need to change but my meme was about this one thing. And I'm right. Trump is for rich people paying less taxes and everyone else can go get screwed.

try to comprehend ..all Politicians are in bed with wallstreet. At least trump made his money in casinos etc, less than kosher maybe But the clintons, obama etc never did anything but have millions.. You see ok out of your right eye but your left eye is completely blind
If you don't understand that Dodd/Frank, Glass/Steagall and the CFPB are beneficial changes that are being posited by progressives and fought by the right then I might as well discuss this with a 4 year old.
The idea of continuing to bail them out without imposing regulations is allowing the banks to scam the people. It's not the government profiting off a scam.

the gov hasnt profited off of anything, the politicians have, solyndra-george kaiser(obama) , haliburton-cheney , star kist tuna-pelosi, Bank of america-obama and the list goes on and on.
