Robert Moses? That's esoteric. ;) He proposed a freeway that would cut through the heart of the eastside of Portland here but thankfully it was voted down by the council. Man, that was a long time ago...

No, not more than any other mid-sized city. The Mount Hood Freeway would've obliterated several neighborhoods that are now thriving districts.
