I wasn't mocking God, actually. I was calling into question the assumption that He would be powerless to help one man and not another. I hear this all the time - that Trump may be flawed, but that our prayers can help make him a better man. If this is so, it was also possible for Obama. I wish we, as a people, were as willing to pray for those that disagreed with us as much as those that align with our views.

First of all... Obama was, is, and always will be a Muslim. They don't allow you to resign, it's a death sentence. So he will be worshiping in the death cult of Islam, either by stealth or in the open now that he is no longer in power.

As far as the rest of your post, it's unclear to me what exactly you are trying to prove or disprove. Maybe you should pray for Trump and let him do his job, because it sure seems he is working on the agenda he promised, which I agree with 100%.

So, assuming what you are saying is true, then, do you mean to suggest that an omnipotent God could not influence Obama? By the very definition, God can influence whomever He wants - and make both Trump and Obama better people. The suggestion to pray for Trump and not Obama is meant as a way to say "I know Trump is not a good man, so this makes me feel better about electing him. But I wanted Obama to fail because I would rather see someone I hate fail rather than help him to progress to something I believe is better." That is choosing hatred for the sake of hatred. Every time someone suggests that I should just pray for Trump instead of voicing my concern with his platform, I ask them if they prayed for Obama. I have yet to hear anyone say they had.

I prayed for Obama. I prayed God would do that lightning bolt treatment. Besides, Obama wasn't your President. It was that Iranian troll Valerie Jarrett as de facto President for the past 8 years.
