Have you seen their "Hero Smashers" Star wars figures? They're 5-7" I think and have ball and socket joints and are interchangeable. But they come with accessories too. And they only cost $7-8. If Hasbro can make these that cheap, you'd think they could easily do the BS lines as cheap.

Cool thing is that I just noticed what they made his pistol/sniper rifle from. An AR-15. His pistol is just an AR upper and lower without the buttstock and the barrel. I think that's great. Like how Lucas had the crew use actual weapons to make them look legit.

And an AR is essentially just a larger Mauser pistol that Han's blaster comes from.

I really liked the visuals in that episode. They had great camera work IMO too.

I had some problems with some of the dialogue though. The writers made Sabine and Hera have the worst lines.

It's like they had a new person writing that was a Hillary supporter.

Sabine sounded unreasonably weak and Hera sounded like she was having her period. And I don't mean this in a misogynistic or condescending way.

They just went against their established character arcs. It did not feel like them in certain moments.

The lines that bothered me the most was Hera saying "you didn't use wooden sticks with Ezra" and "Is it because she's a Mandalorian?"(paraphrased). And some of Sabine's lines fighting Kanan towards the end sounded too whiny, and Sabine isn't a snowflake. Like how she threw the stick down like a kid kind of things. That goes against her character.

To me that's feminist crap. Kathleen Kennedy needs a new project. Pronto.

There's this molding material called "blue stuff" I want to try that would make it really easy to duplicate lightsabers and accessories. Maybe even make duplicate figures to army build if you have enough molding and casting materials.

I got my "Bom Vimdin cantina patron" and my sculpting stuff the other day. I haven't used any of the epoxy stuff yet as I'm still sculpting with super sculpey baking clay. I want as much practice before using the epoxy stuff so I have the XP of the shapes I'm making.

I'm taking a spare 2001 Chewbacca to make a Chalmun, the wookiee that owns the Cantina on Tatooine. I told you about the wwe figs and my ideas for yuuzhan vong figures, but I'm also sculpting random alien heads/hands/feet to eventually attach.

And I already have a rough sculpt of that swoop bike I mentioned. I did it in parts so I can make casts of it, possibly even sell them on ebay if I think they're worth people's money.

But I also found some of these cheap military figures that have 18POA that are going to make some cool desert rebel commandos. I'm really just adding the endor rebel helmet to them, but I'm going to try to make their backpacks too.

I want to try making the grates and flooring for the Ghost and Falcon too. And then duplicate them. :{D

Preferably the darksaber would come with a new Sabine, but it'd just be cool if it came out earlier with another character so we could have one quicker. Hopefully they keep making new characters and then make new versions. It seems like Kanan sold well and obviously Ahsoka and Sabine are so I hope they do.

lol Right? They even came with a 1:18/3.75" scaled Blackhawk helicopter. And it was like $20 for the helicopter, the 3 figures, their weapons, 2-3 oil drum/barrels, and 2 boxes/crates that had lids that came off. $20 for all that and the figures have 18POA. This was during the height of Hasbro making the multi articulated figures though, all pre-Disney Hasbro. But still. At the time Hasbro would have charged $100 or more for that.

And don't they only have one Sabine in 6" scale? She has three hairdos they could rationalize a new figure for not to mention that she's got the jetpack and now wrist gauntlets. They should do a S03 Sabine with the DS.

I kind of have so many project ideas going all at once that they all have a rough draft look to them. But I'll take pics of some and post every so often.

I'm going to start posting these on that Imperial Shipyards site too, so I can just link there.

Right now, the most detailed sculpts are a Gotal head, an Ithorian head, Chalmun's hair and mustache, the Bryar pistols, and the swoop, but its in pieces and they're all really rough.

The swoop also still needs some bendable wire like electric fence or armature wire for the handlebars.

I'd really like to make one of these soldiers that has no facial hair into Endor Rex. I have the vintage Endor Luke and Leia and they both have the helmet as removable pieces, so I'm using those and online pics to sculpt that. And that Rex pic shows up in that search too. :{D

Yeah that's absolutely crazy that a vehicle and 3 SA figs with accessories was just a few bucks more than the current BS 3.75s. You'd think it was like 80 years worth of inflation to justify that.

Yeah there's one 6" Sabine and two 3.75s I believe. They could just be lazy and repack the season 1 Sabine with her current hair color and include the darksaber at least.

I could try making one from glue sticks or maybe even just a single stout wire or metal rod. That would leave a smaller hole and if the rod/wire is bendable I could reposition the swoop. well, they don't go too high, so maybe not a bendable wire. I can find some scrap clear plastic.
