Very good article on her. Helps me put into perspective a short story I read back when I was a young teen. The story was by Al Capp of Lil Abner fame and recounted his youth when the scandalous one piece bathing suit was akin to my generation discussing bare boobs in the movies. Having only one leg, Capp turned his attention to art so he couldake a living as am adult. In Jr Hi, he was pretty good. He made extra cash drawing pictures of his friends looking at a buxom lass in a one piece outfit. The lass he used just happened to be the art teacher.
I'll have to see if I can find that story, but even then, it gave me a chuckle as the bikini had long been established by then
