Even though he phrase being used is "hacked the election" that is not even what they are being accused of. They are accused of accessing and releasing emails that showed the DNC rigged the primaries (information we already knew). In theory this information (which was accurate) MAY have influenced some voters choices. The Russians are not accused of altering vote tallies. The media jeeps screeching the phrase "hacked the election" in the hopes that we'll buy it and consider the election illegitimate.
