Wow, he tried to make sure everyone could afford it to make it the "people's car", but it was a failed experiment. I drive an A3, which is owned by VW.
Right?! I love this line "the entire project was financially unsound, and only the corruption and lack of accountability of the Nazi regime made it possible"

Sounds like GM (General Motors): They made the cars obsolete easily so you buy a new one, which destroyed consumer confidence, and they weren't accountable with how their profit flows went.
