Just saw the new episode. It was okay but it kind of seemed like a filler episode again, although it led to Thrawn getting closer to finding Chopper base at the end. I just wish they had more multi-episodic story arcs like CW had. It's great seeing all the concept characters though.

Yeah it was kind of humdrum. I think that's mainly for the kids when they do that.

I think camping is just a result of maps being so detailed now. It happens on Destiny too which was made by Bungie. I usually just play Heroes vs Villians though. That's only 6v6 so there isn't much camping in that mode. The 40 man modes like Walker Assault are always going to have campers because that's how a lot of these dumbass kids play video games these days I guess.

I bought a prepaid visa from walmart today while I was there, and I didn't know it had an $8 fee that is added monthly, so I order Cassian on walmart's site and do the pick up option and check my balance on the card and got hella pissed off. I called them up thinking it was going to take some threats of legal action/etc. but they were all like "we'll put the fee back on your card and close it so you can spend the remainder" and yada, yada, yada.

For a moment, I was going apeshit. "That little punk at the register!" kind of crap. And Steve Harvey is the celebrity on the card's page so that was making me more pissed off. Cause he's got this 'uge shit-eating grin while holding up one of the cards. I'm glad I got that shit taken care of.

I'm trying my hand at sculpting things like the DC-17m's from RC. And I'm trying to make it modular so I can mold and cast it to have for Commando teams. I want to be able to swap out the parts and even the clip to make it just like the game.

Nope not yet. There's a lot to get now between the newest 6" wave, the target 3-pack and the AT-ST. And hopefully more stores have the AT-ACT at that sale price.

I went back and watched Saw on CW again and even though I knew already, it really adds that cool connection that Jyn basically received training that came from Obi, Anakin and Rex that was passed onto Saw. I think that's pretty cool.

I haven't checked my walmart's prices on the ACT yet. It's still $310 on their website though.

I recently watched the Unfinished Episodes of Clone wars on youtube and damn were they interesting.

It had Utapau and the planet apparently has the same rock formations and plains that Lothal has. Plus they had Azmorigan's voice for one of the arms' dealers. It's like you can tell Filoni used the unused parts of Cw on Rebels.

And dude, if you're into Commando armors, they have this one team of clones that wear basically the Katarn armor from RC, but the helmets are each different and parts of the armor are swapped out. Kind of like Dengar wearing a mix of Snow and Sand trooper armors. :{D

My only concern with the Asian figures is any kind of chemicals they may use instead of the ones used.

I have some Revoltech Evangelion figures and they all have a sort of oily glossiness to them. I know they make great sculpts, articulation, accessories, and paint apps, but I wish they'd solve the chemical problem.

Otherwise, they do great jobs.

And the figures only cost what they do because they're imports. If you can get them in Japan/China, you can save a bunch of money. :{D

I really like the "figure" on this Padme. lol The faces aren't perfect, but they're still better than what most companies sculpt at that scale. They did a great job on her articulation and curves.

That chick Aphra? I read her wookieepedia page. I like the look of the character, but the backstory feels forced. No pun intended.

The idea of her is just contradictory to how Vader appears in the films. I can get Starkiller, because that showed how conniving the Sith are. Vader was power-hungry.

And then the idea that Vader's using her to track down info on Padme and Luke/Leia. Disney sucks at continuity and fleshing out their EU. It's like they think they have to tie up things that only appear to be loose ends. They just didn't think it through.

Vader would be busy as hell with the Emperor telling him what to do all the time. He wouldn't have the free time to have Aphra helping him like that. And when they did TFU, he barely had the time to train the Apprentice. He even mainly used Proxy.

It also felt like they were trying to replace Padme with Aphra. "Not strong enough" Always been a fan of Vader. They seemed to want Vader to have a girlfriend/lover.

But I see at the end he tried to kill her. That's more like Vader to me.

This is a guy who killed kids.

Which maps did you play? And which game modes? It sounds like you played extraction if you played the palace. That mode is all about camping.

Did you play the big maps though? Walker Assault is a mode for the big maps. That's when BF is at it's best.

With the space combat it's so epic to go into first person mode in the cockpit of an X-wing or Tie. My fav is Heroes VS Villians.

I just recognized the locatiions like Hoth, Endor, and Jabba's.

All the maps had spots where the shitty players could hide though.

EA sucks at making good games. And I'm surprised DICE was involved once I played it. The graphics match DICE's usual awesomeness(I'm thinking of Bad Company 1&2 of course and yeah that's technically still EA but they're notorious for being mediocre).

They just need to really work on their MP.

My favorite part about the new BF was that they let you pick a species for Reb's.

I played Force Commander today and enjoyed it so far. It's an RTS app game. It has a lot of EU stuff in it too.

Arena is pretty good too for a free game.

As the Prequels came out I started seeing how Lucas was making Palpatine mirror Bush in some ways. The obvious stuff like that and the Vietnam and Revolution stuff of the OT. And the Jedi Knights are a lot like Templar Knights in the PT.

It's really hard to say, something is off on the figure. And not just cause it's a figure, it's like something to do with her eyes. The spacing between her eyebrow and the eyelid. I don't know what it is exactly, but it's just off barely. And that's still way better than most of what Hasbro has been doing.

She needs more than that gun for accessories. I think they could do swap out pieces too to make her both versions of that outfit. I'm going to be getting one of the cantina patrons form the Vintage line called "Bom Vimdin". He's that one with the beady black eyes and the horn(piece of poo) coming out of his head. (I'll post pics of him in a meme) He's actually a really cool figure. Like he could be just a basic male version of his species. which is great for customizing if I ever get another. But they gave him a blaster that fits into a holster, a rifle, and a cantina cup. And he has all the good points of articulation. I think he even has a torso joint.

Next week I'll get Cassian and my sculpting supplies too. I'm so amped to try my hand at modifying these "fodder" figures. :{D

Greedo, Bom(on the way), Pons Limbic(Braniac), Trinto Duaba(Actually appears in TFA too) and Dice Ibegon. Some of the 30th Anniversary figs of M'iiyoom Onith(H'menthe) and Elis Helrot(Givin) and they both came with corner sections of the bar. And I have the POTF Lak Sivrak(wolfman), two Ponda Boba's, a Greedo, a Momaw Nadon, and Djas Puhr from the 2003 Saga line.

I need updated Ponda and Momaw, and a shit ton of others. I have a Muftak(talz) but it's the Jedi one from the first Clone wars cartoon. So, same figure, but has boots and a Jedi robe on that I don't want to take off.

I hope the Black Series last and they make the super articulated versions of all the characters that either haven't been updated or haven't been made.

Budget does a lot of great stuff. I love his ideas. I've seen a few videos on people making the cantina on youtube and the videos help. I eventually want the whole cantina like in the Incredible cross sections locations book. One guy did one with a removable roof too. That's what I want to make. I just need the space to display it.

I've got Bautista, HHH, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, John Cena, and Bobby Lashely. I'm going to use Bobby, Edge, HHH, and Undertaker for sure and probably Rey. But I kind of want to keep Cena, Bautista, and Shawn to take some pics of them piledriving stormtroopers or Greedo or Ponda Boba and Evazan. lol Robot Chicken type stuff. They each came with pieces to a ring, but it's undersized AF. It could still be used to make a boxing ring like thing for Jabba's Palace(I have it set up in my Jabba's Palace display already). Do alien pit fighters or something.

But the others are going to become Yuuzhan Vong and background aliens from Rebels. The Gotal or that Aqualish that's used in Clone wars in the background too. I also like the idea of making some Bothans and Selkath(manta ray guys from KOTOR).

And I have a double of the Vintage/Legacy Old Ben Kenobi that I want to make an alien Jedi.

Yeah there's definitely a chance we could see her on Rebels. Felicity reportedly has another film in her contract as well so she might make an appearance in the Solo movie. That could work pretty easily since Han is basically a criminal at that time as well.

I really don't get how Hasbro can sell that, but charge the same amount for a figure half the size and more than half as much plastic. Plus, the size of the mold would make it cost more to make a larger figure than a smaller mold for 6".

And I've been seeing a bunch of the 6" figures on Amazon for $8-$15 in pacakge. which must mean there's a shit ton of them out there and no one is buying them.

Hasbro needs to fix all this scarcity and scale issues their having. I can't find the newer 3.75", but can find tons of 6" and 12"? I call bullshit.

The scalpers are ruining this hobby, that's for sure. A 6" Revan on Amazon is $45 but a 3.75" is $160. That's really bad. Hasbro needs to make more of Revan for sure.

I really think you should send pics of the figure's eyes to Hasbro and tell them you're going to switch to the SHFA's if they can't compete. They might listen if enough people write them. :{D

when Kenner was making the Jurassic Park toys in 93/94, a friend and me wrote them and they wrote us back and said they couldn't take our ideas because essentially they pay someone for that. But the next wave of figures had the figures we asked for. The Utahraptor, Ian Malcom, and the Coelophysis.

I've been meaning to write them again and try asking for something for Star wars. YOu never know dude. They sometimes do cool stuff like that.

I've been seeing how CNN is trying to trigger the liberals with all the talk of how an Obama appointee could become president if Trump is killed. Pretty much every book I've read since Plagueis has disappointed me. I'll be starting on Catalyst shortly.

I like the way the novels get you to fill in the gaps.

I'm rereading Heir to the Empire, and the way Kashyyyk is described is vague enough to blend Holiday Special, KOTOR and Prequel versions into the visual.

A weird thing I noticed too is how there's a scene in the book that is an obvious influence on the Dexter Jettster scene in AOTC. Instead of Obi it's Luke and instead of Dexter it's Lando. A Jedi asking a scoundrel for info on a specific piece of equipment.

It's cool that George really liked the EU.

I don't have a preference really. Uh I didn't really care for Kenobi, or A New Dawn and some non SW book that I can't think of right now. Actually with A New Dawn I didn't even finish it started getting boring because he wasn't focusing on Kanan. John Jackson Miller was trying to set up too many other characters that I didn't care about which is the same problem I had with Kenobi.

I used to read a lot more books when I was younger but nothing has really peaked my interest the past couple years. I've heard Catalyst is good so hopefully I enjoy that.

That sucks. Maybe Catalyst will be better.

I don't really go outside of SW novels. If I do then I usually stick with sci-fi or fantasy. Actually I'd like to read the GoT books. Have you read any of those?

I've only ever read excerpts for studying writing styles.

They seem decent enough but they have a lot of minor characters. At least that's how it seemed to me.

I read these Resident Evil and AvP novels by SD Perry every now and then and Starship Troopers.

The Halo, Magic the Gathering, and Elder Scrolls novels too. Even a few of the world of warcraft books.

And Jurassic Park and Lost world are still great reads.

I'm like you though, and mainly read Star wars novels. :{D
