I made a meme about this kind of thing a couple weeks ago. I don't have access to it anymore, but the caption said this: "2012, when you only needed 7 upvotes to make it to the top" with a screenshot of imgflip from 2012. I used a special website to take that screenshot.

Just look up "WayBack Machine" on Google.

Lots of new talent, plus more traffic/users = more points for everyone.

Right now I'm like 3200 from 1/2 million points. Sitting @ #66 on all time leaderboard.
