I wonder what would happen if I went into a Jewish deli and ordered a Kosher ham for the holidays. They would probably give me a 2000 below-zero glare that would freeze to the bone, but I doubt they would behead me for it or chase me down the street with a machete.

The only time I've heard them offended about pork was if someone knowingly served it to them after being told about their dietary laws.

The biblical list of things that carry the death sentence is frightening - and abysmally primitive. I don't need the god of ancient murdering desert wandering savages that murdered, r@ped and pillaged just about every civilized thing that had the misfortune of encountering them.
