To be honest, it's not really a cracker holiday. And really, would you want it to be? It is a celebration of family, community, and African heritage. The closest any of the White folks have to African heritage is that they were somehow involved in the slave trade or apaetheid. Not something we want to celebrate.
Give it 100 years. By then, there will be enough White people with African heritage. So far, half my grandkids can celebrate it, but their dads don't.
