Just saw that our local McDonalds will be open Christmas Day. My how things have changed!

I've been going for sushi on Christmas Day with my elderly father. It works for us. No family around. Asians celebrate the lunar New Year in Mid January.

:) with this year being the exception... The last few years, though, we went out for Chinese for Christmas dinner. It's a lot less hassle. :)

This has been going on since back in my day. Currently a Christian holiday, Although growing secular, those stores are still open.
