Okay. I've mentioned two of them. Any others I do not recall offhand, because they weren't memorable.
Inspired? Old Morey Amsterdam trick. Sometimes it only takes a word, or phrase to inspire a related meme. After seeing the two I mentioned, my brain went into word association. Memory foam? Bad luck Brian. Opposite of memory is forgetfulness. Extreme of forgetfulness. Alzheimer's.
It's difficult breaking down how inspiration works, but that's the best I can explain it. I use logical progression. The attached meme was inspired by my breakdown of how inspiration works. Bad luck Brian is an easy meme to do because it follows a basic formula. Good thing in set up line at top. Bad or opposite occurance at the bottom based on the subject at the top.
When a trend starts, expect other memes to follow.
A few weeks ago, I used the nerd pick up artist with a cheesy pick up line. I liked the reaction, so I thought of one about virginity, which lead to a second one about virginity. Going through my previous memes, I saw those virginity ones and have a new one for Tomorrow. I'll post it in an few hours.
For the record, I was using the memory foam gag back in 2000 when I managed a mattress store. Our one supplier had sold the use of the name "Swedish Foam" to another mattress company and went with the generic memory foam tag everyone else used. He told me and I quipped, "My luck, I'd get one that has Alzheimer's".
