At any rate, 1) citizenship cannot be taken only surrendered and 2) one cannot claim to be a free land and in the same breath suggest that a consequence MUST be administered for burning a flag. And it is ironic that the very punishment he suggested, i.e. loss of freedom, is what EVERY citizen suffers IF that punishment is enforced.

to be fair, trump wants to give power back to the states, while the democratic party has worked hard to convince young people that the federal government should be responsible for social and economic decisions like minimum wage and who gets to use what bathroom. if it really was a republic of independent states, people wouldn't be that upset about what trump wants to do in that regard.

If Trump does want to give power back to the states he has an odd way of communicating that. Genuinely, I don't think he understands the first thing about freedom or liberty. And he surely isn't for smaller government when he makes a point to line the pockets of politicians and then get those politicians to do his bidding. He touts his love of eminent domain, "I think it is a great thing." Well, I reckon he does lol He says he thinks Snowden should be killed for his actions, flag burners should be jailed and lose citizenship and thinks that Hillary has been through a lot and prosecuting her would cause division lol
This is not a nice man. Seems nice sometimes but he's not a nice guy. This is not a smart man. He's a leader. He is that. But the world has had a lot of bad leaders.

But my really issue is with all these "conservatives" and "republicans" who are blindly following this man. They will not speak ill against him no matter what he does. He says something and they go about explain that he said it but doesn't mean it. lol
This man is concerning and most of his followers are scary. Equally as concerning and scary as Obama's folks were. I just pray we can all survive him.

How can someone protest against what symbolizes freedom of speech, and many other freedoms, is "freedom". apparently ruthlessly burning down a city is "helping with the lives of others". THIS is our country and you should be PATRIOTIC which involves following the constitution. If you cant understand this irony, then maybe you should just move to ACTUAL socialist countries, with no rights.

Also, Hitler was pro-abortion and euthanasia, was anti American values, like he was against gun-rights, and was more "society focused", with more government control (He believed in Evolution, this is not something totally evil, although it may be false). Straight Liberal Values. Although he was mostly nationalistic, this is not the worst thing he did, since even George Washington was a nationalist, who wanted NOT to get in the French revolution, and focused about strengthening America, which is how we grew up as a nation, kiddo. Respect the flag, respect are national values, and LOVE of our freedom, If you want to be a citizen. or you would have to go to a country of oppression and poverty, where you can grind your teeth If you want to at our freedom.
