If we've learned nothing else, President Elect Trump likes to hear himself talk. The more outlandish the statement, the better, in his opinion. He's walking back almost everything he said during the campaign so he has to come up with new stuff.
It does make me curious, however, do you think that someone accused of, investigated, and prosecuted with all due protections of the law, and found guilty should not be jailed just because she's a political foe? (Obviously, a hypothetical, just like the premise of your meme.)
If the flag burning issue is the First amendment issue that you're referring to, are you aware that then Senator Clinton sponsored a bill to make that illegal?
