It's not bankrupt yet, but its going towards it really fast. I feel like California is really bad at balancing their budgets....I mean, Californians pay some of the highest taxes in the union, but very little is done with their money. It's not rare at all for someone here to drive 2 hours roundtrip working 4 fast food jobs and later being evicted for not being able to pay rent, utilities, electricity, etc. Meanwhile, many illegal immigrants and welfare leeches here get to go to the beach everyday and live easy lives.
