You know that it's normal to have an opposition to any government administration, right? You know, like what you've been part of for the last eight years.

Reasoned opposition is good. It's healthy even.

Calling someone racist who prosecuted the head of the KKK, got him the death penalty, desegregated schools, voted for Eric Holder, and voted in 2006 to extend the Voting Rights Act is liberal left fake outrage and crying wolf (again).

Are you talking about Jeff Sessions? Racism or not, the man's certainly a hardliner, there's really no doubt about it - I think he's bad news.

Siding with "liberal" policies and politicians once in a while just makes him a politician, not necessarily a "liberal" one and certainly not necessarily a not-racist.

If you're talking about the 1981 Michael Donald case, Sessions' office was certainly involved in the investigation but it wasn't his prosecution.

And his appointment to District judge in 1986 was blocked amid very legitimate complaints about racially charged comments; you may not agree with the complaints, but there was nothing fake about it.

I find the outrage over his choice to AG completely reasonable; there are plenty of skilled people who could carry the same policies for Trump who have a much cleaner history, and I think it's a sign that Trump is appointing Sessions as a favor to someone else which is usual for politics but very much not at all what he promised to people.

You don't seem to understand how an AG works. HE doesn't try each case individually himself, but guides the lawyers doing so. This was his case. His responsibility. His decisions.

The complaints were that he called a black man a 'boy' -- uncorroborated and the guy who made the claims was discredited (and is now dead). Fake. Yes, that was made up.

He said the NAACP is an unAmerican organization. Wow, he was against an organization that allows membership based only on race.

After finding out KKK members smoked week, he sarcastically said, "Well I was for the KKK until I found out they smoked marijuana." Everyone in the room understood ... people who were not in the room are OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!!!! (again)

Having known Jeff Sessions for almost 35 years, voted for him multiple times, known many people who worked in his various offices, and currently in a Rotary Club with one of his best friends, I can confidently say you're full of BS.

The only thing you know about the man is what you've been spoon fed by people who would oppose MLK if he were nominated by Trump for anything.

You'd think he called black males SUPER PREDATORS or something...

Fortunately, ISIS is pretty much crumbling with the sieges of Mosul and Raqqa, so you wouldn't have had to hear that for much longer anyway.
