1.) ALL of those immigrants are criminals... Kinda says it in the name, you know, being "illegal aliens" and all.
2.) The MAJORITY of these people have only one crime: letting their visa expire... Not raping, not drugs, just visas.
3.) This technically means that when Trump says he'll just deport the criminal ones... Yeah, he really means all of them. They've all had to break a law to even be labeled an "illegal" alien. Don't kid yourself. Granny's going bye bye.
4.) Since almost ALL of the illegal immigrants currently living in the US immigrated here LEGALLY through the regular immigration process, and didn't become illegal until after letting their visas expire... A WALL WOULD DO LITERALLY NOTHING TO STOP FUTURE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
5.) Even looking at purely just people who cross the boarder all the time for smuggling purposes... A WALL WOULD DO NOTHING TO STOP THEM. First of all, a lot of them ALSO smuggle through the legal immigration system. A system which again, a wall would do nothing to fix. In fact, Pablo Escobar smuggled most of his coccaine in the digestive tracts of people flying in on commercial airliners... and that brings up another thing, walls do nothing to stop the OTHER most common methods of smuggling, which is by aircraft, boat, and even by homemade submarine. Walls are, put simply, retardedly bad at actually keeping people out. In fact, there's plenty of historical precedence for just that. Here, here is a list of walls that not only failed miserably, but in some cases actually hindered or bankrupted the country that built them due to wasted resources better spent elsewhere:
Great Wall of China (Mongols and Manchurians just went around or through)
Maginot Line (Germany invaded Belgium first, THEN France)
Atlantic Wall (Eastern front, Southern front, AND we flew over with planes daily, AND punched straight through it in a single day).
Berlin Wall (most people got out by immigrating to another Block country first, and THEN escaping, though many simply went straight through via various methods)
38th Parallel (it's actually very easy for North Koreans to escape through China instead. Most don't because the families they leave behind are punished by being killed off as far as 6th removed by the regime... which is entirely unrelated to the 38th parallel.
