What if I'm right and you're wrong? How do you judge right or wrong? The truth is what actually works. Evidence is how you judge if a thing actually works or not. To base truth on words of a being you have never seen personally is risky. To ignore truth which has evidence and science backing it up is plain close minded and ignorance. Even for those who claim to personally touched by God, can they verify 100% that that "God" is immortal, instead of just super long lived, or that "God" is all powerful, instead of super powerful, or that "God" is actually all good, instead of just loving and good towards certain people, eg. people who claim to believe in him? In the Old testament, that "God" if judged by human laws would have been sentenced to multiple lifetimes of jail time for committing so many murders.
