You mean splitting voters into subsets like women, LGBTQ, mexican-americans, african-americans, etc? Rarely. Repbulicans primarily won because Trump made his platform's case for working for and protecting Americans as a country. You're not going to see Trump say he carries a package of hot sauce around his pocket when talking to black groups.
