I don't really consider myself a big user but thank you:) Just keep doing what you're doing making good memes and making comments and before long folks will get to know you.. I read on one of your other memes you're from Omaha. Do you remember when they were still running horses at aksarben?
I do...in the final years of Aksarben, I was a security guard there...mostly for Lancer games, Oktoberfest, and trade shows...No more horse racing by then but it was still a fun job...it no longer exists unfortunately.
I wish I could have worked there in it's heyday...that would've been great...I got to see some of the tunnels that went from the grandstands to where the track used to be...they were all buried in about halfway tho'. There was no track...the grandstand seating was still there and the Clubhouse was still there and all the rest of the complex...used to patrol it all...they tore it all down finally back around 2007 I think it was...shopping plazas were being built on some of property along Center Street when I moved away in 2009.
