The Wired article was interesting, but I have my doubts still. They said some things that just stuck out as odd or like they may have been exaggerating for humor.
Humans also have gotten exponentially cleaner in the last century.
If a pig can handle its own feces, a dog can lick its own butthole, and mammal mothers can eat the shit of their newborns, I think humans can handle the current level of daily microbe exposure. :{D
