Rules that Democrats apply to Republicans mysteriously don't seem to apply to Democrats.

Both candidates equally bad.

Agree, though one has a long history of policy decisions that have had a negative effect on US citizens. The other one said some mean things and comes across as boorish and braggadocious. Some people are horribly offended by braggadocio ...even more than they're offended by rape, murder, and corruption.

It's down to character. Either of which is fit. I'll vote for America.

** thinking you meant to type "neither" ...

When it comes to character, I defer to people who know them best and have worked with them for years rather than sensationalize media reports or mysterious people who come out of the woodwork at the last minute.

But make your own choice.

In 12 months your taxes will either be lower or higher, immigration will either be under control or still out of control, we will have more terrorism or less, ISIS will either be confronted and destroyed or secretly supported, your gun rights will either be saved or eroded, your healthcare will either improve and be more affordable or not, more people will be in the labor force or less ... I happen to think we have a better chance of good things happening and the economy improving with one particular candidate than the other.

Yes, I meant neither. And I base my decisions not on media, but what I've seen them say and do on their own (not in person of course, but then we'd never vote).

I turned off the media in May of this year and barely see anything at all if I can help it. I'm not buried in the sand, but I'm not programmed by the media, I can think for myself.

Trump is an abominable candidate as is Hillary. His behavior during this campaign is immature at best and destructive in reality. So they are both equally unfit to be the president of this country but barring some new wave of sanity sweeping over the electorate, one of them sadly will be. But not with my vote.

What do you base that "good chance" on? His words or his record? He has no record of being a conservative, in fact his record is loudly the opposite. But for pandering sake he's now claimed to be a lot of things and just like Obama in 2008, people are buying the apparent lies.

He MAY have had a chance of heart, but there has been nothing to demonstrate it, including his own behavior and words during this campaign. He should have set about proving himself a conservative and then run in 8-12 years rather that just say he's something that no one has any idea if it's true.

When Ted Cruz dropped out, we lost this election.

I voted for Cruz in the primary. But he would've never been elected because he's too conservative. And the EXACT same allegations they're baiting Trump with would've been used on Ted Cruz but I don't think Cruz has the fortitude to handle them like Trump. Remember what they said about and did to Romney, McCain, Bush, and Dole. They'll do anything, say anything, bait you with anything, drum up lies, find 2nd grade teachers that said you ate paste, find old girlfriends from high school that claim you assaulted them, guys from college that will say you stole their car ... it doesn't matter who you are. The democrats will assail your character and make you into a demon with their complicit media accomplices.

Trump is an unknown. Hillary is a known ... a scary known. That makes me way more #NeverHillary than I am #NeverTrump.

I respect your right to vote or not vote. But I just can't do that with what's a stake with the Supreme Court, the tax situation, Obamacare, and immigration. If Trump flips on those issues, he will be a one termer and his supporters will turn on him ...and I think he instinctively knows that. He will go down in history as the biggest disappointment ever and I don't think he wants to have that legacy.

Honestly he was about my 16th or 17th choice but compared to Hitler-y, I'll take him.

1. Cruz has little to no baggage... and he's masterful with the unrehearsed answers. He would have destroyed Hillary in the debates -- on issues, not attacks. So no, they could not have used the same allegations.

Trump and Hillary are both known to be lacking in moral compass or character.

Hillary is known and that's what makes her LESS dangerous than Trump. We know what she will try and if the GOP has grown a pair, they can stop her. With Trump, we don't know what he'll do, but his history indicates it will be as bad as Hillary. Supreme Court too (he said he'd nominate his radical sister, so he has no discernment at all). But we can stop Hillary, we cannot stop Trump because it would appear his own party is against him and that's worse for our country's future.

So far, nothing I've heard (in the little I've heard) about Trump has been false. He said the abusive statements from 11 years ago, they didn't fake it. And while that's not changed my opinion about him, it's just underscored what he'd already revealed in the primaries. He will do anything and say anything. He has no restraint at all.

Worse, he's accountable to no one. Not even God and he "claims" to be a Christian who never needed forgiveness.

And Christians are buying it. Because the boogeyman spectre of Hillary causes them to fear and not trust God.

God has already chosen which of these two we're going to be punished with. Our vote doesn't matter except that we should cast it and be able to stand before God proudly. He'll understand people caving into fear and voting for an "evil" like Trump. But I would rather honor Him with a vote that says "I trust you, Lord, it's not up to me."

Besides in the 1970s we had a Supreme Court that sanctioned the murder of babies. Don't think Hillary can make one more heinous than that.

Oh, I agree. Cruz would've decimated her.

And Hillary is also accountable to no one. Having family that worked in State government under the Clintons in Arkansas gives me a little different perspective. She is as godless and vile mouthed as they come, referring to special needs children as f***ing ree-tards when they were taking too long to finish an Easter egg hunt.

Several things can get more heinous ... regulating the second amendment with her court appointees ... surrendering sovereignty to the UN ... completely out of control immigration ... bringing in over 1 million Muslim immigrants ... allowing Sharia law ... and she is ALL for each of these.

Yeah, it can get worse.

Funny how morals and family values suddenly became important for Democrats after the Trump recording. Sounds like a good reason to support Trump now. If he gets elected, maybe the Democrats will jump on the family values wagon for the next four years.

I'm just saying all those Republicans that could 't support gay rights cause of "Family Values" need to rethink their support.
