Present talk of voter fraud and stolen elections as though such things are modern imagination or lunatic ravings ignore the historic realities. When I was first tuned in to ''elections'' in the late 1950's, in Chicago, the phrase 'vote early' was always answered by 'and vote often' in the same way that the Easter greeting 'He is Risen' draws the reply 'He is Risen Indeed.' It was automatic.
