They believe only the "elite chosen" will go to heaven, and everyone else will live on a reborn paradise earth after the apocalypse. And the evil simply cease to exist because they don't believe in hell.

I asked them that question. They showed me in the bible Psalms 37:9-11 so they believe we will live on a paradise Earth in peace and harmony someday. The "Great crowd" mentioned in Revelations.

Actually , they do believe in "hell" but not as a place of torture , but a place of final destruction for satan and all who follow and worship him and willfully wicked people. It is an interesting concept, and if you have ever read the Bible cover to cover like I have ,
you realize the bible does not say when you die you either go to heaven of hell..

No they don't believe in hell trust me. It's because of how they translated the original material. They believe hell is a false concept. I grew up in it. I've read their Bible cover to cover. They believe that if you are bad then you just cease to exist when you die.

Interesting, they told me that everyone will be resurrected from the dead when the Earth is transformed back into a paradise and Satan will be bound for 1000 years , then he will be released for the final test , those who then follow him will be destroyed forever in the fiery abyss, and the true followers of God will be granted immortality. Since we are all born in sin, this is the chance for redemption . I personally hope there is something after death besides game over !

They probably just didn't explain it well. Yeah when they say "destroyed forever" that just means you cease to exist, and the fiery abyss part is just what will end your existence I guess for dramatic effect lol. Paradise earth never made any sense to me. If no one ever dies, wouldn't the world get overpopulated pretty quick??

Thats a question not addressed in the scriptures as to if there would be children being born or if it will just be all who died both young and old , and if the whole Earth is a paradise then there is plenty of room when you consider how much land mass we have that is unused,Forests and deserts now . Alaska is a prime example.

Yeah, the dead from the beginning of time being resurrected would seem to be a lot of people. Even if all the cold climate areas are turned into habitable places, it still doesn't make sense.

Honestly , At this stage of my life where I can die at any moment , we can only hope that it is true, and we get a second chance. I feel in my heart that there has to be more to it than what we can even comprehend with our limited amount of brain function. If there is nothing after death in our future then it won't really matter to us anyway will it ?

Yeah I agree. I'm not a fan of organized religion as so much of it is just false rhetoric, but I do believe in spirtuality. And there's definitely forces of good and forces of evil in this universe. I think there has to be something after death.
