Dude, I'm all for reposts and all, but you really should wait a few weeks before you repost a front page meme, unless you just want the downvotes.

It may not have been on the front page when they submitted it. I had the same thing happen to one of my memes. Got a bunch of comments about me copying but I had not even seen the one on the front page when I submitted mine.

I freaked for a second too, then saw the MADE BY was different than last night. Bad form.

Possible, but it seems to early not to be. Luck of the draw that it wound up top of the latest page though.

BTW, you don't have to submit all memes you make. I sometimes make a different version of someone else's meme and save as an image to post elsewhere. I just don't submit it on imgflip.

Makes sense. In the future, if you need to do that, I would recommend clicking the Make Private box. That way you get to make the meme without it submitting. Saves you a submission and some embarrassment. Just some friendly advice.
