October, if you think about it, is the opposite of March. On Halloween, orange is the main color, and we celebrate by dressing up in scary costumes for candy. Whereas in March, we dress in green just so we won't be pinched by our friends. I think the counter perfect timing of this meme is hilarious.

In Ireland, orange is the colour to represent unionism, which means wanting to be part of great britain. Look up Easter 1916 :)
