With my parents it depends on the topic, if I make a meme about the meme world they have no idea what I am talking about. But if it's something political, especially anti Democrat they love it. Maybe your dad doesn't have a good reference point, we all kind of speak our own language of meme around here ;)

You're right. I'm going to show him how to make his own here.... Well at some point anyways. He'll have plenty of time once deer hunting season opens... Waiting in the trees.

I personally don't like it. But my father thinks the best food is free food- it's mushroom season now, so he will stock up to go w his deer

It helps me feed my family and there are so many deer around here they end up starving or getting hit by cars. Plus the meat is so healthy compared to store bought anything. It's never easy to take the life of another creature, but it's more humane than how the meat industries treat their animals in my opinion.

I think it is healthier and admirable that you take good care of your family. I ate it as a child, but I don't even like steak anymore. I'm a big gardener, so at least I'll have fresh greens going into fall/winter. Everything else has been pulled. :(

All I've really got left in the garden are some peppers and okra, I've been pulling my tomato plants and throwing them in the chicken coup lol. They love munching on those things :)

Awe. Jelly here. I grew up on my grandparents farm. But my husband is totally a city guy and will never understand how manure and wood shavings bring back good old memories.

OY! I can't believe how acclimated you get to the smell. Stories I don't necessarily want to post on this meme. Cleaning the feed trays in the summer and getting splash back was the worst!

That's funny I grew up a city boy in California but now I live on a farm lol. I wouldn't say I'm a "country" boy but I definitely have found the benefits of living a more self sufficient lifestyle.
