It's up to the mods to run the site how they see fit.

It could also be a result of someone flagging it. Also, the mods could just pull it a meme back into submission if they think it's offensive, or likely to start trouble on the site.

LOL. Seriously, I don't recall anything off-color in your memes. But my memory's going, so ... oh Crap! What was the question again?

Well, they don't have to tell us the reason they pull them. Even being seen as "potentially" offensive would do it.

But I think Beckett437 has the right idea that it's most likely downvotes. That could mean anything. Maybe the most likely is that your memes had a political or religious view that the first few people who saw it didn't like.

It's happened to me twice that I've made memes making fun of Trump and they've been bumped back into submission almost right away. I assumed it was downvotes.

Anyway I don't know which memes of yours got bumped back to submitted. If you link them I can look at them.

But the main point I was trying to get at was that it isn't necessarily "unfair." We're all presumably under the same rules. And the mods don't have to explain to us why they do what they do.
