Lol maybe people who are really country and from different places. I don't hear it said like that on a regular basis except from my dad and he's from northern ms. They say alot of weird, jarring things up there but yes there are some who do here so you're not wrong ;)

I lived in tuscaloosa alabama, for a while , and worked all over the "south", i had to learn a lot of southern jargon just to get by while i was down there...

I've only passed through Alabama to get to Florida. One thing about louisiana, Northern louisiana is a completely different animal than southern louisiana but you said you've been through "southern" so I guess you didn't have to experience south arkansas/north louisiana.

I live in utah, but i drove truck for five years... Been everywhere from blaine, wash. To miami, fla,.... Except northeast area.

A truck driver aye? Got to give a tip of the hat to truckers. their light flashing has gotten me out of alot of speeding tickets.
