Why wont anyone comment on my meme? :(

A few helpful suggestions if points/comments are a priority:

The font in the top box is pretty small, if people can't read it easily, they'll probably move on.
It kind of comes across as complaining, most folks avoid upvoting, and especially giving positive comments to those types of memes.
Several of the items in your list are controversial. If you want mass appeal, avoid controversial topics. Some people are very good at political satire, but it's difficult to do well.
The "only good memes" part of the sentence throws me off grammatically. Would "good but not great memes have been a better way to phrase it? Word choice makes or breaks success. A minor spelling mistake isn't necessarily the kiss of death, but grammar is more difficult to over come.

If you want an honest assessment of your other memes let know and I'll give you constructive feedback in general on what I see.

I went through and liked a few and commented on those I upvoted.

If you're going for upvotes and trying for page 1, I'd recommend staying away from video game posts and trump/hillary posts. Go back through my posts and see how poorly my video game posts do compared to others. My goal there isn't upvotes or points though.

You also have some with the troll face, basically antagonizing parts of the community. I'd stear clear of those, it takes a master artist to make it to the front page with something like that.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the average age on here is probably between 30 and 35.

School memes just don't relate well to a lot of us.

Also don't ever make a meme complaining about not being on the front page, that's a wasted meme and can lower your rep if people see a pattern of you posting those.

But if upvotes and comments are what you're after keep your memes more relevant to everyone.

It may take time, but I think you if you take some of my advice you may start seeing some improvements. Feel free to hit me up in a few weeks to look at your most recent ones.

Ok. Better that than a grope-y. (Sorry, it's late, I'm tired). I just get miffed when I see your comments, and lately there's been a lot of yours I've seen, that have no up votes implying that the person who made the meme you commented on, couldn't be arsed to up vote your comment, so, I give you an upvote.

I just posted a new meme for site etiquette/tips/tricks, so feel to chime in there! I covered the upvote stuff, but I'm sure others have plenty of other ideas.

Yes, I actually go back daily (sometimes every other day if got too busy, like today) and go back and see how well my comments do, or if I missed replies (cause that happens WAAAY to much). Most of the ones that don't get upvotes are newer members who probably don't know site etiquette. I've actually been thinking of submitting a meme for everyone to post what they think etiquette on the site is supposed to be and also post any tips/tricks they have for new users. If such a meme were to do well I'd put the link in my tagline on my profile so it'd be easy for people to point to. "Oh you're new? ghostofchurch has a good meme you should look at on his profile tagline."

You've done more for this site in terms of innovation, than the entire leaderboard combined. I think that is a great idea.

I don't know that I'm that innovative, I'll have to ask around and see if it's been done before. If anyone has a link to a good one though, I think I'll paste the link to it. I'll ask So-crates this afternoon. He's probably got a good idea on if there's been one, or at a least a successful one in the past and might have a link saved somewhere.

Socrates has a meme about it, with some FAQ type stuff in the comments. It's where I learned. My very first post here was on a front page meme, asking about etiquette.
