As a conservative, we don't hate minorities. Disagreement about race is ridiculous. We don't mind allowing non-violent people whom we morally disagree with to have guns, such as LGBTs. Law-abiding people will use words and reason, not violence, to settle their moral differences. Our guns are used for terrorists and general self-defense. And if a nation as a whole is armed, we can rise up against a corrupt government if need be.
