I love this one. It was Sagan that started my interest in cosmology.

I have the series, it's on VHS, but it's still cool. I run it when I'm working in my basement and can probably recite the entire script :-)
I still get a kick out of it!

LOL. I meant studying the actual science of cosmology. But yes - the series Cosmos is cool....and a lot of the content is still pertinent today!

Hey, here's something cool... we were visiting our niece who lives in a downtown setting, and as we walked past the buildings, I saw someone had a 6" Newtonian reflector standing in the middle of their living room! I thought it was so cool. I said that might be something I need in my living room also :-)

Newtonians are nice and I should have kept the one I had. I now have a Schmidt-Cassegrain, and let me tell you...that monster is a sonuvabitch to collimate! What I SHOULD have gotten was a Dobsonian reflector. For about the same price as other 'scopes, you get twice the primary aperture!
