Yeah, it sucked last night. Both events came in like 30 minutes apart. Calling employees after 11 p.m. to make sure they're ok does not make for an enjoyable evening.

Are you a cop?

No, but I am going to school for my Law Enforcement Associates and Criminal Justice Bachelors degrees. I just need to finish the skills portion and then I can take the state test for being cop. That's just my backup plan though. See my "Crisis Management" meme below for an idea of what I do.

No, if anything I'd rather do SWAT, but I think I'll realistically be too old by the time I get licensed and go through any department's hiring process (cop jobs typically have a very long interview/background check process). Being a cop is just my backup plan in case I wake up hating my job one day. I want to be able to further advance whether I stay on the corporate side or chose to be a cop. I'd rather help kids start off on the right path by keeping them out of gangs, or even go gang taskforce if my department had one. I believe in community policing, which tries to help lift a community up, rather that how law enforcement has typically operated for much of the last 30-40 years.
