Here's the crazy thing - when a meme gets created, I guess there's some kind of loss or scaling going on, that causes the font color of certain pixels to change. Some are darker than the specified color, some are lighter. Not sure why it happens.

All that is beyond me. I'll just take your word on it! LOL

Lol. No worries. Here's a really zoomed in image of what I'm talking about (hopefully uploading and generating this meme won't degrade the image too much):

On the left is a screenshot (I stress, screenshot) of what the text looks like on the website, in the meme-maker, before the initial meme is actually generated.

On the right, is the text from the generated meme.

Notice how perfect the colors on the left are, compared with the variation on the right. It could be my imagination, but it also seems like, for the generated meme (the right side), that the upper text is slightly darker overall, than the lower text. Just scan your eyes up and down, and you may see it. Again, it's an overall sense of being darker - very subtle.

It may be the fact I use a relatively old laptop (or a less sensitive screen) but all 4 are looking perfectly identical to me...in both regular AND a magnified screenings.

Hmm, I guess the display would absolutely be a factor. Interesting. Thanks for having a look!

You're welcome, but to be fair, the idea came from headfoot.

You may have to save the graphic and then zoom in with a viewer, to really see what I'm talking about. You can most definitely see how the generation process alters individual pixels from the original color.
