I keep seeing memes about down votes today. Who the heck uses that feature? Lol I've never used it. Not even on blatantly sexist memes.

I use it. If an anonymous meme mentions reddit, or I see a racist meme, or something offensive, I downvote it. I might flag it too, if it's over the top.

Why the reddit? Sorry I'm new.

It's another meme website... Well it's more than memes I guess but I don't care to advertise them. Some people will be on reddit, want to generate a meme, and reddit will give a choice of meme generator. Imgflip is one of those choices. So some anonymous memes are actually reddit users who chose ImgFlip meme generator. Luckily imgflip only chooses a handful to show to us, otherwise we'd be overwhelmed with the volume of memes. Imgflip is a great community, and reddit is the @&$%#¥ of the Internet.

Hmm I have a reddit app on my phone but I've never delved into it. I can see how that would be annoying. I have no chance of getting one of those 50k point memes so I guess I don't care :)
