Still doesn't make those who sit any less of a douchebag. Newsflash: The first amendment only protects you from federal reprisal. In other words, you won't have to worry about the FBI, Secret Service, or any other federal enforcement agency showing up at your door, and arresting you for protesting or criticizing the federal government by way of speech or in writing. That's it. It doesn't protect you from those who would call you out. Are you seriously so narcissistic to think that it is only your opinion that matters? Give me a break...

Did I say that only my opinion matters? Where does that idiotic assumption come from? And when has the Secret Service ever been an agency that enforces laws? And where do you get the ridiculous idea of someone wanting to be protected from being called out? What does that even mean? The only newsflash you just gave me is about your mental capacity. Spoiler alert: it's not good.

The Secret Service can, and will, come to your door if they deem you a threat to whoever they are protecting, or to arrest you for crimes that are within their jurisdiction. However, you obviously lack the reading comprehension to even debate on the matter. I was talking about the First Amendment to the Constitution, and you go off talking about the Civil Rights act which has nothing to do with the right to protest. Also, you might want to do some research into the Secret Service. They do more than just protect the President.

I deleted that first post. I forgot what page I was on and responded to a different comment. Don't know how it got back up. But I still struggle with what you mean about the first amendment not protecting you from being called out. The first amendment just says the government can't choose your religion for you or restrict your speech. The secret service provides security for the president and for certain government buildings. They can arrest people in protection of what they are providing security for but they are not a strong arm enforcer of the constitution. Nor is the FBI for that matter. Constitutional issues are handled in the courts with higher courts setting precedent that lower ones end up adhering to.

Actually the photo post I made above is related to the civil rights movement. You are the one who approached it from a first amendment angle. That's why I'm having trouble responding to what you write. Because you're off subject from my post.
