I don't think using Socrates name is a good thing... Period!... Get it?... Period...

Socrates died 2217 years ago...can I not use his name for my profile? I use it for Twitter and nobody cares!

The #2 user on this site is already using that name...Putting a period behind it just makes it look like your trying to cash in on his popularity...if you're NOT doing that on purpose, I stand corrected...but people should know that your ARE NOT him.

I knew the name socrates was already used but I didn't know s/he was a top user. I am new here.

It's ok...not a big deal in the grand scheme of things...if I know Socrates, he's not worrying about it either... but just fair warning, sooner or later that decision may begin to haunt you on this site.

U suggest deleting this account and starting a new one under a different name?

That my friend is completely up to YOU...I most definitely am NOT suggesting you delete your account...just thought you should know the situation...and what you "MIGHT" run into...I noticed on one of your other memes, someone is already following you around and started an argument over it with another user...You're only 3 days in and already a "flame war" on one of your memes...LOL That's actually something of a rarity for a legitimate new user...

I don't want to jump in the middle of a conversation, but I personally would recommend deleting and restarting. Socrates is a top user, and having an account named similar to a top user is a common tactic for trolls, and may get you flagged or downvoted even if you don't do anything wrong. So it's best to start on the right foot. That's my two cents, but as RayDog said, no one can make you do anything...
