I beg to differ. School nurses have the lowest pay rate at $30 per hour. At a hospital on the night shift you could earn up to $80 per hour. I have worked at a hospital before and the nurses I have encountered do not deserve what they get paid. Anyway, at $9.50 per hour you could do better at a retail store
I was trying to refer to entry level orderlies, my sister does VERY well as a psych nurse, well over $80 per hour. Yeah, nursing can be a great profession for men or women. Watch out for the politics, though.

Bachelor of Nursing is the HARDEST undergrad degree out there. I work night shift in open heart surgery icu. Definitely don't make 80. That has to be NY or Cali where cost of living = ass rape!!!!
It's a tough job, requires education & skill, plus people skills despite the stress. My sister is actually a PA now & basically runs her own business under supervision of a psychiatrist. Btw, I get veeery snarky myself under time pressure & stress. Good luck to you.
