I really didn't have a template for this... But one kid in my sins grade chews gum for concentration probably adhd related, so the whole class gets to chew gum.

Why don't the kids just not be butt hurt and not complain about not getting to chew gum when the kid who can has a legit reason to be able to have gum.

I think it's so the kid that chews gum is not singled out. I give my son a pack the first week, and the novelty wears off quickly.
