not true, Eisenhower is thought to not even have voted prior to his election. Cleveland served for less than a year as a mayor. Some were elected with only two years of political service. Hardly a lot of expierience.
ELECTING SOMEONE FOR A POLITICAL OFFICE WHEN THEY HAVE NO POLITICAL EXPERIENCE IS FINE FOR AN ALDERMAN OR CITY COUNCIL MEMBER, BUT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. THIS WOULD BE LIKE TRUMP PROMOTING A MAIL ROOM WORKER TO CEO OF ONE OF HIS COMPANIES. THE PERSON MAY VERY WELL BE THE BEST EMPLOYEE TO EVER WORK IN THE MAIL ROOM AND MORE HONEST THAN ANY OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES FOR THE POSITION - WHICH TRUMP IS NEITHER, BTW - BUT THEY ARE OVERWHELMINGLY UNDERQUALIFIED TO RUN THE BUSINESS.
