If you are given a right, or gift, must you exercise it? Everyone has the right to remain silent, yet very few exercise it. Many are given a gift, yet they abuse it. We are all provided the gift of free will, to choose right or wrong. We are equally rewarded for our obedience, as we are punished for our disobedience. God does not punish you for using free will, he punishes you for choosing to disobey his will for you. But, he will also forgive you for that if you ask.
