I've seen that blank templates get featured whereas my most controversial political memes or my simple educational memes don't. So, I figure the moderators prefer overused templates with really bad jokes.

I think the mods are liberals with hints of conservatism. But mostly progressive liberalism.

And they're too quick to censor stuff. :{

Well, true liberals stand for freedom and equality so perhaps they're just confused. :) But, when I make a meme about the Hillary stuff published on Wikileaks it would be nice if someone could see it.

Yeah you mean like Jefferson's type of Liberals. But I'm referring to modern liberals as in progressives and socialists.

Yeah, I hate being stifled myself. :{

Americans today mistakenly think Democrats are "liberals". But they're not and, historically, the Republicans were the "liberals" (Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act). Democrats aren't even progressives or socialists. (Bernie was barely left of center and Clinton is far right). But, like much of everything in the U.S. today, misinformation confuses people and they have no clue which way is up anymore.

Democrats are liberal in the sense that they give freely. But they expect the government to give freely everything they need to survive.

Republicans are conservative in that they maintain traditions and only accept change if it's constitutional. They expect the government to protect them and to build infrastructure.

That's what I'm talking about.

As for people finding out the truth, I think the truth is something that is obvious to everyone, and some people pretend to not know. Ostriches. :{

I think the confusion often comes from the current disconnect with our government. If it was still a "government For the People and By the People" I don't think most would mind if our tax money goes for the needs like Health Care, Education, Energy, Infrastructure, etc. But, today, the Corporations and very wealthy own the government--not We, the People--so our taxes go to corporations, the very wealthy, and other countries.

America is the first government to really set its population free.

Taxes aren't constitutional. The government already has ways to generate its funds.

And if taxes were okay, they should have a section where you the taxpayer decides what YOUR money goes to. That's really important for the idea of freedom. :{

Yes, that's partially true. The "Income Tax" is technically unconstitutional. So is the Federal Reserve Bank (the Congress is supposed to coin our money not a private central bank). But, other taxes and and tariffs are constitutional and described in the U.S. Constitution as long as those taxes benefit all U.S. citizens.

Yeah I meant income taxes, I can see how that sounded. Tariffs and certain taxes are fine.

Taxes are constitutionally supposed to be voluntary.

Either way, I hope people stop complaining about political memes if they aren't going to complain about the overuse of other genre of memes. :{D

And the Hillary political memes are funny because the people that will vote for her are stupid.
0 ups, 8y
But that's not the point of the meme.

I'm saying if a bunch of users complain about "too many" political memes, they should complain about the pun memes since they vastly outnumber the repetitiousness of the political memes.

And at least eh political memes have you thinking about issues instead of how some words sound when said with certain inflection.

I'm pointing out a simple hypocrisy. Not that I don't like pun over-usage. :{
