The Bible says you're not, though. It says none of us are. The Bible has never been wrong about anything. It sounds like you're the one who should re-examine your presumptions. You're probably not measuring yourself by an accurate standard.

it's not about believing the bible. if you only do good because you want to get into heaven/want to avoid hell then you are doing it for the wrong reasons; you should be a kind person for the sake of being kind. also, if you believe simply being a good person will get you into heaven then you haven't read the bible thoroughly enough or have misinterpreted it
